FORMENTERA...MEDITERRANEAM ESSENCE


Formentera is a small island that has preserved a nature closely linked to the Mediterranean sea whith beaches of exceptional beauty.




La Savina in Formentera, is the gateway to the island, we found other towns such as Sant Francesc Xavier, where the greatest concentration of services and shops of Formentera. Sant FerranInstead of the famous Fonda Pepe, famous in the 60's was a meeting on the movehippie. La Mola that gives us a picture of the more rural Formentera, two times a week there is ainteresting market for the artisans of the island. Pujols is where the greatest concentration oftourist traffic, with bars, restaurants, shops and some nightlife but all
within the idiosyncrasies of the island with a leisurely pace.
The island offers white sand beaches and crystalline waters of great beauty, almost all in their state natural, or very few buildings.




To the north Llevant beach and Illetas near the beach of Es Pujols. Cala Saona in the west of the small island is a spectacular beach. South Beach Migjorn 5 km in length.




In the extreme south is the Cap de Barbaria lighthouse, a place to visit to see
the immensity of the sea, where the sunsets are a real spectacle. Sa Punta de Pedrera offers a beautiful formations by the action of man to be an old quarry and erosion of the sea.




But perhaps most important of Formentera is the atmosphere we breathe, it is difficult to explain are not there. The island invites you to find a new taste while enjoying the simple things and adapt to the rhythm of nature.
